I am awaiting mine on Tuesday. Hoping my blood work comes back ok. I dread the wait. Lots of to everyone on their surgery Tuesday also.

Thank you all! Over the weekend I have pretty much spent my time telling other people about why I am having this done. The person who I thought would be really supportive (mom) has been the one who is most against it. I am going to go through with this and I will deal with the future when it becomes today...until then, I am NOT going to worry about it.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I will be thinking of all the ladies in waiting who will be in the castle this week. Since I will not be able to use the computer until next week, I wish all of you well and a speedy recovery. I had a farewell to the period party to day, we bbq and had cake. My brother sang- "the old gray mare ain't what you use to be" and it really was funny. To all my ladies in waiting- good luck tomorrow if you are doing the bowel prep. I am not looking forward to that- but what must be done.....

Well, I never thought I would make it. Things are a lot better with DH and I am feeling better but still scared to death!! I can't wait until it's over and I am on the way to recovery!! Good luck to all of you and thank you so much for the support!! You ladies are the best!!!!

Is any one stressing as much as I am? I am not sure if I am just worried that I am not prepared or I am scared or what. I just have a feeling of dread! Maybe it is the un-known. This sight has been so helpful with the Castle Stories....UGH!
Just can't wait for it to over with!

I am right there with you girl!!! I haven't had any sleep in three nights. I am trying very hard to kedep my cool. I don't want to upset the family anymore than need be... I had three break downs this weekend so I guess I am not doing so good. The one thing that has helped me is knowing that these feelings ARE normal and that I am not a crazy person. I just feel that way right now!!! Hang in there we are in the home stretch now!!!!!!!!

I figure this is the last day for a serious romp with my 3 pug dogs. So, I just walked 3 miles in the hot and humid pennsylvania weather, and I did not think about the stress at all. I am now going to clean my house spotless! I am all packed, and my room is all set up. Maybe a little shopping, some new books? Anything to stay busy. If my Dh looks at me with those puppy dog eyes one more time I will scream. I know he is scared too, but everytime I see that look it scares me even more. He hasn't said that he is worried, I can just tell. Poor guy!

Don't worry, you'll be fine. It's normal to be stressed, normal to be nervous, normal to be scared. But take it from someone who was all of those things and probably more on May 10 -- you'll be fine! And you'll get to sleep through the whole thing, too.

I'm 13 days post-op and just so glad I had my surgery. I feel so much better already, and I'm sure all of you will, too.

Take care and take it easy today and tonight -- try and do some fun and relaxing things.

P.S. CLucci, the romp with the pugs is great! I love dogs -- we have two, a dalmation/pointer mix, and a beagle.
