gave mine to DH

My husband can use them for deer hunting. He will put scent cover up on them and drag them behind his boots. Go figure.

Uses for Left Over Pads, Tampons, etc?

Well I am not one to usually waste things. But after all the he$$ I have been through. I really enjoyed taking all my pads and tampons and throwing them in the trash one by one. I thought about taking them in the back and having a bonfire but didn't want to over do it LOL!!!!

I know there are needier people that I could have donated them to but I really needed to do that for myself. I donate clothing and toys all the time so i don't feel so bad.

What do I do with all those tampons?

lol, I've got BOXES of tampons that I'll never use (used to need a new one every hour, and sometimes that wasn't good enough!

It seems strange to throw them away since some boxes are new. I tend to open boxes and then forget and open another one, so I've got lots of these things.

I'm sure someone could use them, but it's not like I can just walk up and say, "hey, do you need a lot of tampons"? lol

What do you do with these things?

I'm not sure if they would take them, but how about a women's shelter in your area? I'm sure they can always use toiletries and things like that. Anyone else have any ideas?

Hi, I think that the women's shelter is a good idea. It's worth a try at least.

I like that idea!

Thanks! There's a thrift store nearby that is for a woman's shelter. I'll go there and see if they could use them. Thanks for the idea! That sure is better than just tossing them away. Those darn things aren't cheap each month, lol

Well, I sure hope you find a home for all those tampons.....hey, I'll still need them for two more cycles....can you "e-mail" me some !! Take care...

Use for tampons

I gave all of my tampons to the receptionist at my company because a lot of girls in the office don't have a quarter for the machine and go to the front desk and ask for a freebie!!
