LAVH: 1 week to go.. Starting to get really nervous

Emotionally I am fine with my decision, but I am really starting to get nervous about the surgery and recovery. Honestly, I just want it done and behind me.

Plus, I have been alternating between hot flashes and chills.. I have pain in my lower right side, so I think another cyst ruptured..

Oh No... Sorry you have to go thru the pain of a cyst before your surgery...
A week is not very long and it will be behind you soon...

Were all here for you. From what ive read of other ladies in here, most of us, including me were nervous and scared before surgery and its very normal to feel this way...Hang in there, try to stay at peace as you get busy preparing for the recovery time it takes to heal. Talk with lots of loving supportive family and friends. And yes come in here and talk with the sisters who have been there or those who are waiting for their surgery. this is a very loving, caring, positive place to be..Peace be with you

I remember how nervous I was the days leading up to my surgery. Try to relax bit. I think I worked myself up more than what was needed. Just think here soon all of this will be behind you. Good luck.
