dVH/RALH: Last period ever!

Shutterbug, why are they doing a bowel prep AND making you fast? My doc told me to just eat a light meal Tuesday evening at dinner and nothing by mouth after midnight. I am having TAH Wednesday morning.

I don't know!!! I'm doing a suprep mini bowel prep. I spent all day locating one all over town. I had to go to several pharmacies before I found it. That was so embarrassing asking for it so many times! It would have been $95 if not for insurance coverage. That was so embarrassing asking for it so many times!

The morning of surgery, I'm not even allowed any water! That will make me more upset than no food because I always have a jug of water with me.

lol how our minds work..When were told we cannot do something, the more we want to do it, and thats all we can think about..i once had a time in my life when i knew i could not do something, and a lovely person came into my life and this person said to me,,well maybe for now just think of it this way, that for now ime not able to do that, not forever, just for now..lol mhm it worked as my mind thought differently as i had the thinking that its just for now a moment of time, not forever, just for now..So ladies having the thought of you cannot eat for a certain amount of time is just for now, its only for a moment of time, that time will pass quickly, and then u can eat again..So just a thought to think about lol...Peace be with you all
