Hi Guineapig38, I am sorry you don't feel well. I posted yesterday as I spoke to my doctor about my symptoms. I am in pain all around my stomach area, around my sides as well. I also feel as though I Have a prolapse. (I don't have a discharge). My doc says that he thinks I have overdone things and have a pelvic inflammation, he instructed me to take things easy and to lie down for a few days with my feet raised above my head and not to lift more than a glass of water.
I really didn't think that I'd done too much, having read some of the things our sisters are doing I felt positively lazy. But you just never know how you will heal as an individual, I to am now over 4 weeks. Please take care, and do take things easy if you have the chance to. Maybe it would be a good idea to call your doctor just to check, it would answer you questions accurately.
This is something I won't try !!!

Pocono- Right back at you, babe. My mom has been gone just short of 3 years- the anniversary of her death is 4/24- and I miss her every day. The urge to call her is still there even with the littlest things. My twins were only 1 when she passed away, and it breaks my heart that she won't be around to see them grow up and they don't remember her.

I really needed my mommy especially during this process. They talk about the moment you know you have grown up and I guess this is one of them. I am so thankful for this site, because my Hystersisters have provided me with an element of support only a mother usually gives you- unconditional. So thank you to all of you for not poo poo my tiredness or my pain or my roller coasters of emotions.

GuineaPig- I would definitely go in to see the doctor. The spotting is most likely normal or hormonal, but it is best to check it out.

Alert! : I have started to get some lovely yellow discharge, so I have the feeling I have an infection myself. I have my 2nd post-op next week, so I am not rushing in to see him, but have a feeling I will end up on an antibiotic if it does not go away by then.

Anyway, the DH is starting to lose it here and so he has started guilting me into doing more around the house. That leads to fighting, which tightens my belly, which makes it hurt even more. I am back in the same amount of pain that I had week 2 around my abs and belly button. The only difference is that I have more energy and generally feel better otherwise. But, I am resentful that it seems my relaxing time is up. :burning:

To add insult to injury (literally), I have a dentist appt today to have a filling done. At 40, I am still getting small cavities. I was shocked last week when they found one, because nothing had been bothering me. You know how they say you can only feel pain in one part of your body at a time- maybe this will divert the pain from my belly.

By the way, I get the funny smiles by doing "Go Advanced". It gives me something creative to do, and I am glad it makes it fun for you all.

Everyone, have a great day. Hopefully, you all have sunshine by you today too!

I just love looking through the page of icons, I have saved one or two of them to my computer, I tried the big bouncing frog as a screen saver...didn't quite work how I expected but it gave me a laugh!!!
How are you today? I am doing as the doc' said. Am lying, feet raised on the couch, bored to tears almost. DH is home tonight, but I will be in bed by the time he back (he's in Sweden). I have to say (yet again ) what a godsend this site has been, without it I would have hardly anyone to talk to. All my friends are at work or busy themselves, so thanks for mailing me and just for you I send the following!

Happy Now!
That's all our escaped uteruses or is it uterii bouncing up and down!!!! I'm doing really well. Tues. was 4 weeks. I have been feeling so much better than just a week ago. Someone told me it would be like switching a light. Except yesterday, laniek, I got mad at my husband, and by heck I cleaned my bedroom--even attempted to get dustbunnies from underneath the bed. And, washed the dog. Dumb on my part. My swelly belly made itself known. It's funny the left bump is smaller than the right but when I overdo it that swell up together almost the same size. But, it still not as bad as it has been. Of course, my husband was angry with me so he spent the evening cleaning the kitchen, dining room and living room. I think we're both tired of this whole thing
Well I'm off for some tea and scones and biscuits (really cafe mocha and whatever floats my boat--I figured you English ladies would appreciate the other)

good morning ladies!

I am certainly glad to hear from you all this morning. I am finding 4 weeks out is kinda hard. DH and family kind of forget that I am still healing. I forget that I can't do things. I get impatient for things to get back to "normal". DH gets frustrated with all the housework, I can tell. He hasn't complained but he is human. We made cookies last night while he vacuumed the house. I had a tummy tuck too so my stomach is tight and hard. I don't get swelly belly, when I swell I feel it down low. Like I have a tennis ball sized tampon deployed. DH and I had a lengthy conversation about prolapse and things related to that sensation. He escorted me to the couch and got me pillows. Told me to "Rest the PLAYPEN", (yes i read him that post) (just for you kappel). So I gotta go. I am getting out today. going to a friend's house to sit around. Instead of sitting around here. change of scenery. Keep your pajamas on and your feet up ladies. I'll be back later!

P.S. My discharge is pinkish and seems to be directly related to my activity level. I am fearful that things have stuck themselves back to my bladder. I seem to always have pink stuff when I pee. I wonder if my body will stop feeling like a science experiment any time soon?

Getting ready to go out: Let's see...hmm...should I wear the baggy gray shirt or the baggy blue shirt with my sweat pants...decisions, decisions...
After much thought and deliberation I'm going with the gray. It's all about fashion
