I had my pre-op today too. I just found this site a few days ago and it's been so reassuring - only wish I had found it sooner! Anyway I used many of the questions found here and my doc commented on what excellent questions I had asked!

Feeling much better about everything today and ready to go!

Just finished my preop this afternoon, and I am wiped out. Think it's time for a nap. lol

I didn't have any questions to ask because I asked everything I wanted to during my last surgery consultation.

Hey ladies been a long day here

I am back from my pre op app. It went well but turns out I need a little more than just a hysterectomy, I know I needed some repair work but I guess I need a lot, he will do an A and P repair work, I guess the front and back part of the vaginal wall are all the way prolapsed along with my uterus and cervix, so there is a little more involved than just a hysterectomy. I guess the first 24 hrs after my surgery he said to expect a lot of pain, but after that i will start to feel a lot better. I found out I get to go recover on the OB floor, so that means a private room WOOOOO HOOOO. I am really nervous now, but I am sure I will be A OK!

No bowel prep either for me so that is good
