Re: Pillow Pets

I borrowed my daughter's bumble bee one...and it has been amazing--keeps the cats away from my belly and comforts me with it's goofy smile. I highly recommend!

Re: Pillow Pets

LOL, now I don't feel so silly for pressing my old teddy bear into service. He's soft and cuddly, and will do nicely as a tummy pillow in the car too.

Re: Pillow Pets

I had to get 2.....The turtle(flash) had a mean look on his face which I thought was appropriate since he would protect my belly but I could not refuse the cheery color or goofy smile of the bumble bee(stryker) It's silly but they do lift my spirits

Re: Pillow Pets

Mine was a red doggy with a heart for a nose, & hearts all over her belly . . . My Mom gave her to me as a gift, & we named her "Lovey." She really cheered me up!

Re: Pillow Pets

I love how my sisters on here just get it. Instead of having to explain why, you ladies just know. I'm loving the assortment of choices for pillows. Jbkvern: I hope you go get one. It will put a huge smile on your face. I cuddled with mine last night and found it so comforting that I was able to fall asleep faster than normal. All my worries about surgery in a week melted away.

Thanks for this post! I went out and got the pale blue dolphin. I chose the dolphin because when it's opened its round and will fit my belly perfectly!

Re: Pillow Pets

Im glad you ladies are enjoying this post. I just felt like it would be a nice uplifting one. I almost got the purple hippo too since purple is my favorite color, but decided I liked the penguin for it's connection to my hubby.

Re: Pillow Pets

Finally! A good excuse to get a pillow pet! I've always wanted one but never had a good excuse that wouldn't make my hubby make fun of me! I have an appointment with the surgeon next Wednesday and will find out my surgery date, so now my excuse is pre-op shopping. Thanks for such a great idea.
