Re: crying

Im done crying since my surgery was over several weeks ago but I cried the morning of right up until I was asleep on the operating table. Its ok to cry and its ok to be scared but once its over you will feel so much relief. Its not as bad as we think its gonna be. I wish you a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

Re: crying

I'm so sorry. It is very hard to face this isn't it?!? It helped me to focus on how much better I would be after I recovered from the surgery. Hope it goes really well!

Re: crying

I was so nervous before my surgery I could hardly concentrate on anything else. It's totally normal to feel emotional and overwhelmed. Surgery is a big deal! I think it's all about the unknown, and the lack of control any of us have in this situation. But before you know it, your surgery will be over and you'll be on the road to recovery. Hang in there! Everything will be ok

Re: Upcoming hysterectomy 8/11: crying

Hi Andrea Rivette -

I several times before my surgery and many more times after. That reaction is quite normal. This surgery is really hard to process and digest. I think the only people who understand the emotional toll are the women who are going through this surgery and the women who already had surgery.

That is why this site is so special. It is the only place where women really understand what you are going through.
