Flo's Final Ride report

Yesteday I rode in the Tour Dallas, and rode the 30-miler all around Dallas. It was a challenge because some genius decided that it would be fun to plan the route going uphill for the first 15 miles. ARGH! I hate hills.

Anyway my good ol' bicycle and I made it in 2 hours, and 19 minutes. On the flat rode I was flying like it was nobody's business. On the hills, I was passed by a silver haired fox cranking on her pedals like there was no tomorrow. I again hate hills. When we hit the downhill portion, I yelled out to the crowd of riders around me, "HURRAY FOR DOWNHILL!!!

What fun!!! It did take me until today to recover. The whole fibroid thing has played with my energy, and how fast I bounce back. My uterus seems to be pretty angry at me, and has been cramping up as well. I just took it easy today, and layed around.

Tomorrow is my last day at work before my FMLA begins.
*whispers* I think I will probably be a slacker tomorrow. Shhh.

Now you deserve a rest and some princess pre-pampering, IMO
Do something special for yourself - something that you really enjoy.

jeanus - I must be a masochist, because that was something I really enjoy doing. lol I'm just not a take it easy kind of gal. Guess I am going to have to learn pretty fast!!! LOL


Freezy143 - I telkl ya, it wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but it definitely was a fun accomplishment.
