TAH: The time is here!

Going in the morning to the castle. My thoughts are all over the place. My head does feel like a ping pong ball tho. One second I here the next I wondering into what if. Am I scared or not, am I ready, did I prepare enough? I can notttttt wait to have this done so I I will be free af this life of agany.

I wish every the best that is going to the Castle at any time in the future. Just remember before you go you will have thougths that you never new were possible or even on your mind. I try to just take a deep breath and then think about what I am going to have for supper, yes get your mind on something that does make sense.

My prayers are with everyone, take care of your self.

From a sister on the other side, remember that recovery from a hysterectomy is a long journey, and that you need to give yourself time to heal - in body, mind and soul. I had my TAH BSO 6 weeks ago, and am still in the healing process. This web site is a blessing - use it as much as you need during your recovery. You can really lean on your recovery week group - they will be going through the same thing you are. My group kept me sane!

Thanks for the kind words. Marestail, I hope you are soon on your way to a full recovery. I will definately be intouch with my recovery week group. We all need each others words of encouragement to help us thru.

I'm tomorrow also HEALTHYLIVING. My surgery is for 11 am, but I'm supposed to be there by 9 am. Just finished my bowel treatment (UGH bigtime). All I can say is it tasted like soapy dishwater. At the ending there I kept wanting to vomit. Now I'm drinking fresh, clear water with nothing in it and nothing has ever tasted so good in my life! :-) Did you have to take it also?

I wish us all the best tomorrow! How long are you supposed to be staying? They told me two days at the castle.
