Big day is tomorrow (7/31), getting nervous

I go in for surgery at 9 am tomorrow. I have been a little nervous but after packing my bag and getting a call from the hospital it's hitting me more. I think DH might be more nervous then I am though. I did find out I have a private room I also want to wish my fellow sisters best wishes and a speedy recovery.

I'm feeling a little nervous myself.. I had my preop registration, labs and ekg today. I was sent home with 2 lovely bracelets..lol I'm feeling a bit queasy from drinking the magnesium citrate for this bowel prep. And to top it off I'm starving and I can only have liquids.. Oh well, I can't wait to get this over with.. I wish you all the best and pray you have a speedy recovery.

I'm in the same boat nerves have me up and can't sleep. Have to be at hospital at 5:30 am for surgery at 8. My hubs is sleeping so well wish I could too. Lol but oh well mind is racing and I guess I'll sleep when they knock me out. Good luck ladies. See u in recovery

I will keep you all in my prayers this evening as I deal with my insomnia. ha ha ha..

Remember, as soon as you get that catheter out, grab a pillow put it over your tummy, get up, stand up straight and start walking. It's one of the best things you can do to start your recovery process.
