What is this about degrees of prolapse!!?? What exactly is ;the cervix???? I am scheduled t6o meet with urologist to do consult and testing for frequent urination-from prolapse. I have decided to put off the apppt. because
1. I called insurance co. to get prequalified and they would only tell me it depended on what code the doctor used to request the hyst. proceedure.
2. I have found out through my gyn. that my uterus is normal size (no fibroids)
3. No bladder infection even though I urinate frequently-but do not leak. Doc says my uterus is laying on the uretha as it is prolapsed to the front and rignt.
4. No cancer or fibroids--no pain pap smear came back clean
5. I am the caregiver to a 29 year old son and my recuperation time will be short lived do to my needing to work with him. And complications could hapen.
6. Although I know this is something I will have to do ---maybe next year we are moving next month
Soooooooo God willing my uterus won't just decide to fall out completely before I can get this procedure SAFELY and effectively!!
