vaginal cuff suture granuloma

Hi ladies I had a lavh partial hyst done on november 12, 2011. I have my cervix and right ovary. I went for my 6 week check up this last week (more like 8 weeks) and dr saw a suture granuloma??? Said it'd take two visits to completely remove it. He then did something and said cine back in two weeks.. Wasn't very disruptive though. This was on 1/12/12. Yesterday I called dr olive green discharge and he said it was normal from what he did and that it may turn black.. This morning I woke up cramping and lightly bleeding.. Had anyone had this before?? . I had been already having cramping on my right side but todays is worse. Dr. did a.ultrasound to check right side and all seemed ok the other day. Maybe its from the little procedure ?? Please help sisters!!

Re: vaginal cuff suture granuloma

Yes, I had 3 treatments and they were pretty painful for me. Yes, the discharge was icky and black, some bleeding, and I did cramp for a day or two. The tenderness will take a few weeks to heal.

Hope you heal and feel better soon.
