Crummy weekend

Thanks Tracy and Texaslady. I just want to feel human again. I am so tired of bleeding....just want it done and overwith!

I just wanted to chime in here with an "I know what you're going through and I'm so sorry you have to deal with this stuff" I also had a whole bunch of progesterone (which didn't work) followed by a whole bunch of estrogen(which actually made it worse). And the combination of it all made me INSANE!!!! I hope they work better for you. I can say that these last few weeks went by a lot faster than I thought they would. It feels like forever but IT WILL PASS!
Oh and that "call us if you have more bleeding, blah blah blah" does get pretty old, doesn't it? I was actually told that as I was leaving the ER and I WAS still bleeding heavily.

I cry at the drop of a hat...my hormones are so messed up.

At the moment, I have stopped bleeding...dare I hope the pills worked and the doc today was wrong? I am almost afraid to post this for fear AF will get angry and rear her ugly head. LOL

What type of surgery are you scheduled for?

Actually, I'm having a Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy too. Sounds like yours is similar. Nothing robotic involved with mine though. LOL. I think think we have similar reasons as well, Fibroids! I only have one, but it's big and nasty! Can't wait till it's outta there

Yes, I have one large 6CM fibroid...just want it out too!!

So far the bleeding has stayed away! Yahoo!!

CaveCreek - Happy to hear that your pills have kept AF at bay...the depot luprin is doing the same for me...hopefully neither of us will be "riding the broom" before our procedures!

I know..I am sooo thrilled that the pills are working! I was able to go swimming in our pool yesterday (we had a BBQ and pool party for the 4th at our house) without having to worry about AF! Yippee!!

I cannot believe I will be having surgery in 12 days now. Oh gosh..it's getting here quick!
