One Year After ... Stomach STILL sore!?

Just wanted to check in and ask if anybody else has this problem still?

I had my surgery one year ago, and my stomach is still sensitive to the touch in some areas, and actually sore in others. By sore I mean it can hurt some days more than others ... like twangs of little aches.

If I press on this ONE area that's been sore and sensitive from the beginning, it still is sore and sensitive. It's hard for hubby, cause he'll forget and I jump when he touches it.

I had an incision (horizontal) but that's not really sore or sensitive, it's more down the middle and to the right.
I had the right ovary removed.

Anybody else still sore after all this time? Can I expect this to ever end, or is this a forever thing?

Is it possibly scar tissue?

Thanks,
Dee

One Year After ... Stomach STILL sore!?

Well my surgery too was a year ago and I have been dealing with pain in my lower left pelvic region about where my ovary would be. My dr says that its adhesions and i am going to physical therapy for them. I would definitely ask your dr to make sure though....

One Year After ... Stomach STILL sore!?

I had 2 c-sections and a TAH/LSO. My stomach is still tender, numb and tingly. Each of these were about 2 yrs. apart. So it has been about 6 yrs total. I think it will go away with time.

I don't know if this will help but I just got back from my 6 week post op and check up and dr said I could have twinges of pain for up to 3 years after surgery. Feel better soon.
