Aunt Flo just Had to Get The Last Word In!

Last week I finished my normal 3 week long period and thought whoopee! Last One! Surgery Tuesday 13th. At least I won't have to go into the operating room wearing a pad! And having a few days without feeling so bad I start thinking like a lot of the ladies "my situation is not life threatening so should I go through with the surgery?" Wouldn't you just believe it! Aunt Flo made another unscheduled visit this morning. It's like she's telling me "I'm going to bug you right up to the last possible minute". Well if nothing else it's made me even more determined to get there bright and early tomorrow morning and finally give her the boot out the door! At least there's one bright side to today - at least that big ol' pad between my legs will help with any accidents I have today with all the bowel cleansing!! See you all on the other side - Goodbye Flo!

i also have my surgery tomorrow...and aunt flo has never left, so I am constantly wearing a pad. It is pretty light now, so I am not wearing one out of spite. I have the big bowel cleansing tonight and am a little nervous. Good luck tomorrow.

OMG that old hag...My surgery is tomarrow also and about 2 hours ago the little hag paid a visit...oh no just could not wait one more day she must have known her faith and just had to get the last word in...SS good luck all.

This is ridiculous!! My castle date is wednesday and guess who shows up bright and early this am!!!! And of coarse she couldn't be nice seeing as how we can't take anything for pain. Figures. Here's to all of us who will be doing the duck waddle with our pads between our legs on our way to boot the lady out!!!

I know --my period would always come at the most inconvienent times..holidays, vacations, b-days etc. I thought my period was the last time I had to see a pad NOT...after surgery you will have to wear soemthing because you spot on and off for weeks. That's ok though..it is worth it!

sugar plum-- the bowel cleansing will be a blessing in the long run--trust me.. I didn't have to do that and I wish they would have made me. The "not going" and gas afterwards are horrible. I ate out the night before and had Diet Coke--big mistake. Anyway--Good luck and I will be thinking of you tomorrow..

thanks...I have been on a bland diet all day today and have had no soda for a couple of days. Boy, do I miss my coke's. Thanks for the good thoughts...

I think Aunt Flo tries to visit us all right b/4 surgery! I had mine and so did a few others I know. The best thing is that you know this will be the LAST time! Anyway, good luck tomorrow...it is the start of a better life!
