Pre-Op

Finally finished with the appointments and tests at the urologist. His conclusion was the same as my GYN, need the sling for my bladder - that only took almost 4 months to find out.

My GYN office called and said the dr. was ready to schedule my Pre- Op, don't have a surgery date as of yet. I'm so ready to get this taken care of, yet very scared at the same time.

Hoping this means I'm not going to have to wait much longer

you have that right, the long drawn out waiting period. I had hoped to have it done before our kids were back in school but that obviously did not happen. We are lucky that a couple of people that work at their school live close to us, they attend a school in another area of town, and have offered to take them and bring them home from school since my husband will be at work at those times until i can drive again

Waiting can be very nerve wracking

I hope that you get some new soon. It's good that you and your DH are already working on details for your recovery
