dVH/RALH: Castle In the AM

Well, the time is finally here! I finished my bowel prep. The Miralax was terrible, but, I'm on the downside of it, finally. I want to go to bed, but, not sure I'm done "going" yet. It definitely did it's job! I'm glad I started it earlier, but, on the other hand, they don't tell you that once you've done the Miralax, really anything that passes your lips comes flying out the other end within seconds, so, although I would've liked to "eat" a little more this afternoon and evening...that was really eliminated (no pun intended). The liquid diet wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, partly because you feel so yucky with the bowel prep that you really have no appetite. And I ALWAYS have an appetite! LOL!

I am strangely calm and just want to get there and get it done with. So, so, happy that my procedure is first thing in the morning. I'll be leaving the house around 5:30 am, need to check in by 6:15 for 7:45 surgery. Best wishes to my other sisters going in tomorrow and the rest of this week. I'll post when I can

The bowel prep definetly sucked! Youll love the DvH proceedure though, I did. :0)
