Upcoming hysterectomy 2/3: Returning to work ?

I am having laparoscopic on February 3. I know when the doc says I should be able to return. From experience of those who have had laparoscopic with a job where you are on you feet a min of 3 hours at a time, how soon could you return to work?

Not before 4 weeks. Closer to 6. That is how it has been for me. I tried to go back too early. The exhaustion and general weakness was the biggest issue, more so than the pain.

Please make certain your doctor has a complete job description (hours standing, lifting, etc) when you discuss returning to work time lines. It is really hard to predict as we all can feel so differently, both mentally and physically.
