Hospital stay

I am curious about how long I should expect to stay in the hospital. I am scheduled for a tvh, uterosacral ligament suspension, a & p repair, and tvt sling on July 30.

I had a TVH/BSO and was able to go home the next day (early afternoon). However, I didn't have the other work that you had. Best wishes!

I had a TAH BSO, and was in the hospital for 3 1/2 days. I had no other repairs as part of my surgery.

I have been curious about the same thing. I am scheduled for a TAH with possible BSO and my Dr told me to expect up to 6 days but that seems like a really long time to me

They need to make sure all is working..... that is why the longer stay.

I was told up to 5 days - very similar to you. And as you saw my post above it was 3 1/2 days. BUT, I was not in any shape to go home before that and was glad for the hospital stay.
