Submucusal fibroid

Sorry if I am driving you all crazy with my new findings.

But my MRI report also mentioned a submucosal fibroid 3 to 4 mm. Well it said:

There is a tiny 3 to 4 mm hypointense lesion in the right aspect of the uterus adjacent to the junctional zone which may represent a very small submucosal fibroid.

So reading online it says these are not very common.

Can anyone tell me more about them, if you have had one? If it will continue to grow or just go away on it's own, etc?

I suffered from fibroids but I believe mine were all within the uterine wall. From what I've read about fibroids, they can continue to grow but the rate varies from woman to woman. Mine had a sudden surge that left me miserable so I opted for surgery. I had tried uterine artery embolization and it helped for about 5 years but then other fibroids became more aggressive. I've never heard of a fibroid going away but many women have them & don't know it. It really depends on the size.

Sounds like to me that you have a fibroid growing inside the mucosa of the uterus. Google says that it is growing under the lining of the uterus. Must be very hard to see on ultrasound.
