I was the SAME way the first couple of times I drove. It felt odd - but now things are back to normal!

Hey, if you figure out the employer-nap thing, be sure and fill the rest of us in!

Wow, we are all insync! I'm 4 weeks post-op today and had a burst of energy ... actually felt like doing stuff, so I did laundry and cooked a good meal. Last night I picked the rest of my peppers and pulled the plants out. Was a tiny bit sore, but took my ibuprofen 600 - felt better with that. Now after doing stuff today - am tired and feels the achiness and pulling in my lower belly again.... Tomorrow I rest!!!

As far as the sneezing goes - has anyone had trouble with "wetting" a little? I've had to literally cross my legs when I sneeze! and it didn't always help! lol

Can't wait to get back to normal!!! So stir-crazy!

Mitsy,
Actually, I've experienced the opposite! I now have SUPER BLADDER! I can wee 12 sodas in a single sitting (my DH is IMPRESSED)!! And I DON'T 'leak" when I sneeze anymore. No 4am pees. Guess my swollen uterus was taking up valuable bladder space.
4 weeks, 2 days and feeling good. Just takin' it easy since I've learned about the ramifications of overdoing it.

I know what you mean Caybound. I asked my doc if he did a bladder sling...he said no. Said I feel different because I don't have all the weight I had on my bladder...it's interesting...
I had an ok day. Been sore last few days. Bored...think I'll break out the crocheting.

Hmm, I can't say mine is in the SUPER BLADDER category, but it's a heck of a lot better. No more running to the bathroom every 15 minutes, only to drip a few drops and run back again in another 15 minutes! Hooray!

Glad everyone is doing better....sorry to be the only party pooper here..LOL...like I said a few days ago, I feel like I have gone backwards again this last week and 1/2...first with cold I caught from my DS after only 3 days of school, had to go on antibiotics..zithromax and couldn't breath for few days...that passed no big deal..now today I feel like I am getting a bladder infection...I called my doc to call in Bactrim for me as I have dealt with these for years and they work...only I was told I would have to come in so she can catheter me and empty my bladder and send to lab...when I told the nurse I was on zithromax for last week she said they can't test me as it will alter the test...so now I am trying to fend this off before it gets too bad with Macrobid that I still have at home and the Pyridium for the urgency feeling...I have really not been overdoing it at all...maybe 4 trips to the stores for not very long and 1 soccer game...otherwise I have been planted on this computer for weeks...had more energy at 2 weeks than this past week...hopefully just because I had the cold and now this bladder irritation..but I felt a little put off by doc today as it seemed she was VERY nice before the surgery and now can't do anything for me because she can't test me correctly....seemed strange to me

Awww, so sorry to hear the latest setback. If you've had UTI's in the past you probably know this, but I'll mention it anyway. Loads of cranberry juice (and even cranberry capsules from the vitamin aisle at the store). Several times since my surgery, I've felt like I had a UTI coming on, so I've been drinking tons of it and so far nothing has flared up (knock on wood). Hang in there. Hope you feel GREAT again soon!

Thanks for the encouragement...I have also had chronic cystitis for years so have to avoid alot of foods/drinks...cranberry juice has opposite effect on me as well as anything other than water or small amount of coffee in the morning...maybe the cranberry capsules would help...I should look into those......I have been eating one Activa yogurt daily as I heard it replaces the good bacteria that gets killed off with antibiotics...well hopefully this will just be an annoyance for a day or so and not full blown out infection...will keep my fingers crossed and go about my day tomorrow....wish I had a miracle perk up pill.....LOL
