Regarding that, I'd like to thank you all for letting me vent everyday. Writing has always been therapeutic to me and this board was exactly that. I will be returning to work next Monday so I'm looking forward to returning to the usual productiveness. I probably wont have much time to come in here but I wish everyone continued healing physically, mentally and spiritually.

I feel good and intend to live a full life. I wish you all the same.
Thank YOU for all you've given to US! Best wishes for continued good health, and try to check in every now and then to let us know how things are going.

You're welcome. I'll chime in 10/1 to let you know how the first day of work went and how nosy my co-workers are about 'what I had. They're a trip but fun.

P.S. We are identical twins on the following (except I'm 8/24/07):

TAH 8/21/07 (ovaries remain) - enlarged uterus, multiple symptomatic fibroids, anemia

I too would like to thank everyone for being there when we all are lost, confused, and worried. What I learned in advanced maded it much easier. when steps happened I wasn't so worried because I knew that it was suppose to happen. We can all talk to family or friends and they will never understand the emotions or the worrys or pain we all are going through.it was good to be able to talk and learn from those who do know. So once again thank you. you are all Gods angels useing the computers. I have two weeks to go but I feel great and know that I will now be ready for a new life without all the problems before. Good Luck to you all. I will be following
your progresses and keeping in touch.

I refuse to go back to work until my 8 weeks recovery is over.
Life is definately going to be different. But I think of it this way, I'm the only one taking care of my health, why go back to stress. I'm going to Milk it for all it's worth!!!

Anyhow, glad to see everyone is doing fine and getting better and back into their routines....it's nice to have ladies right along with me in this! Thank you!

Did you have question about the clubhouse?

Hi all Hope everyone is having a good day back to work or still at home. While the children I take care of were napping today I found the clubhouse, Someone was asking about it not long ago. Go to the bottom of your page to the forum jump in there you will find HysterSisters Clubhouse, it's full of people looking for diet support ,etc. I'm sure their are alot of you out there that will really enjoy it there!!!! I had my post op checkout this past Friday, at four weeks. I am now cleared to go back to work tomorrow! I am a tad nervous about this, as I have a position that is pretty fast paced, and I am hopeful I do not tire too easy. I do also have a minor bladder infection so I am on antibiotics for a week. I took a list of questions to ask the doctor, and I am so pleased that he took the time to answer each and every one of them in detail--he was very kind. I wish you all the best of luck in your recovery, and thank you all for your support!

5 weeks post op today, and beginning to feel much better. I get dressed every day now and go for a walk and sitting up is getting much easier. Swelly belly still remains (although I think I had that before this operation.)
Still experiencing light cramping and burning on occasion.

Thanks to all my wonderful sisters and the great tips received on this website. You're all angels. Glad to hear so many of you are going back to work. Best wishes and hugs.

Hi All, Just back from my five week visit and I am thrilled!!!!!! I can return to work on this Thurs!!!!!!! I did have pre-cancer cells and he said not to worry since everything was removed. He gave me the green light to resume activity....but be easy...go easy...just like I have done in the recovery. My itching is even better. He said I did have a small discharge but all inside is healed. I asked him about stiches coming out and he said that won't happen they should all just go away.

I did celebrate with a donut and a coffee. So I have to get back on program it has been a difficult few days....we put my friends husband to rest this morning and I have done a lot of emotional eating. Now I can exercise instead of eat!!!!

Good luck to all who may be returning to work and take it easy.

Hi Petrina....glad you can return to work!!!..I know it is what you have been waiting for...don't beat yourself up over emotional eating, jump right back on the program and it probably will not even show...sometimes our metabolism needs a little shaking up by feeding it things it has not been used too....LOL.....I filled in at my old job today for about 5 1/2 hours...felt good to get dressed, put on new pants and new top and a necklace, earrings and really do my hair!!!..Had alot of laughs...I did have alot of pains in my stomach today but I think it has to do with the bladder antibiotic and pyridium...I have been on it since Saturday and usually it works within a day, but so far I still feel the urgency......seeing doc on Wed for urinalysis w/catheter..yuck and than since it is five weeks, she said she can do the 6 week checkup so I don't have to go back the following week.....I still may have to go to operating room again as she did not get to do the cystoscope test that she wanted to do to see how bad my cystitis is, have had it for 20yrs.....she said that she can do it in the office but that it is more uncomfortable than the urodynamics or other scopes she has done as she has to fill it almost beyond capacity and see if there are cracks in the liner and has to be held in there for 10-15 minutes.....I said no thanks to the being awake...I am so done with unnecessary pain....but also leary about going and having anything else done as there is supposedly no cure for it.....there are medications to help ease symptoms so don't understand why she just can't try me on the Flomax to see how it helps...well I guess I got off track...just wanted to say it felt good to be back to work...temporarily filling in until I get a regular 20-25hr a week schedule in October.....Petrina, make sure you let us know how your first day back goes...
