I have been taking Trazadone for years (75 mg) but I only take it before I go to bed. It helps me sleep, so when I get sleep I feel better emotionally. I need to work harder on better nutrition and I'm getting interested in learning Yoga. and of course (when we feel better) an active lifestyle with good quality friends all help with feeling well mentally.

I googled it for you and see it is available from the following in America:

Walgreens
CVS
Rite Aid
Selected Kmart
Duane Reade
HEB
Bi-Mart Stores
Leading Ahold Stop & Shop
Meijer
Leading Fred Meyer

Over here, it has good reports. I have eczeme and very dry skin and it has been useful for that but it has also become known for smoothing scars and making them less visible.

Hope this helps
Love
Thanks for the tip. I will get some of that today!

When I took Trazadone it was for sleep too as well as an antidepressant. I'm so senitive to meds. that it made me drowsy all day. I think it works pretty well. Too well for me though, it made me so sleepy. I glad it works well for you. I hear yoga is great. I should try it too when I'm feeling better. Thanks for the note. All the best.

A couple of years ago I had a severe reaction to Lexapro. I had been taking Wellbutrin for about 4 weeks and felt like I was just spiraling deeper into depression so my doctor prescribed Lexapro and also gave me a few samples. Keep in mind that I was in a severe state of depression. We had been directly affected by hurricane Rita (our home was nearly destroyed) and were trying to live in this house with a tree through one end of it, my mother was having a lot of issues and had to be hospitalized and have a major emergency surgery on her back. I thought I was going to lose her. All of this created a bad state for me. When I left the doctor's office; I went back to work and took my first Lexapro around lunchtime. What followed was awful - my blood pressure went through the roof, I was feeling VERY flushed, heart palpitations, anxiety attacks... WOW. That night I lie in bed and watched items on my dresser start dancing a jig. I was hallucinating! It was awful. The next morning I just sat in bed a cried, and cried..... I managed to get myself back to my doctors office and my husband met me there. I told her that I felt like I needed to be somewhere so I could be watched and to get out of this hole. That same day I checked into a mental health facility and was immediately placed on Zoloft. The doctors were great. My emotions were stabilized and I felt like my old self again. Thankfully I have been "myself" ever since. I felt so embarrassed to be there, but you know, sometimes our bodies just can't take the load and we have to recognize it and take action to correct it. I'm just thankful that my mom is doing much better, we now have a new home, my husband is my rock and life is good.

Zepol, I so sorry you had such a terrible experience with lexapro. I guess everybody is different. I had a bad reaction with Serzone. Felt like I had the flu. I'm so sorry that you had to go through such a bad time with Hurricane Rita. I remember that one well. I live in Houston and everyone was evacuating. I was in my new house only 6 days when that hurricane hit. It was scary. I'm glad your mom is better and your husband is there for you. I'm also glad that Zoloft works well for you. If I ever switch maybe I'll try that one. Thanks for your thoughts. I will be more careful about what I say when it comes to medication. They have huge affect on people and everyone is different. Wish you all the best.

everything looks good -- got released to drive -- still no lifting or any of that stuff. guess husband gets to still do the laundry and raking the leaves

got copy of the op report and pathology reposts -- nothing newsy there -- makes for interesting read though

I am down 13 pounds since before surgery --

feeling good.

next check up right at 6 week window -- will do pelvic at that time and see if released to play with husband. I think this wait is killing him, but I tell him this to shall pass

Hope everyone is doing well.

22 days out and I put in my first "normal" day of work today - 10 hours - I feel good. I took 600 mg of Ibuprofen first thing this morning and around 2 this afternoon and that is it! I will need more before bed, but I am happy to be able to make it through the day without as much discomfort. I think it helps that my office building is HUGE - 65K sq. ft, including a manufacturing facility &warehouse, and key people frequently go wandering and I have to wander around trying to locate them. Lots and lots of walking going on.

Folks at work are being very careful with me, not letting me lift or carry ANYTHING and keep reminding me to drink my water. Even, to my great surprise, my boss!
