Hi Recovery
I really feel for you. I think all the poking & moving of the ovaries even if they aren't removed must really affect them as my emotions are all over the place too even though I have kept both ovaries. I also do not wish to take hormones (but I never say never) and a friend of mine uses a natural replacement with a lot of success for severe hot flushes & emotional turmoil. In australia it's called Remifem. Don't know if you have it in USA

Thanks to both of you who responded. I just feel like i have sunk into a deep depression and have no appetite and can't sleep well. Thank you for your input. I will discuss my problems with my surgeon this Thursday. Until then, sleep dreams..............................

I am 3 weeks and 5 days out tomorrow. The past couple of days have been pretty rough. I've felt really tired and sore. I'm also experiencing a lot of the "pulling and tugging" and some pain that resembles menstrual cramping. Thankfully, I have my sisters to compare notes with and know that all of this is pretty much "normal".

Reading that some of you are already back at work has me amazed and feeling like I might be lagging a bit. I was so sure that I would be back at work by now, but it's looking like it'll be at least another week if not the full six.

Well wishes to all of my sisters....
Lynn,

My Dr is keeping me off of HRT for 6 months to dry up the endo. Are you on progesterone? My Dr said that helps to dry it up. BTW I am from Louisiana!
