Hi Erpie:

Glad that you got your shoulder and neck pain looked at and your GP is doing something about it.

Cheers

I had my 6 weeks checkup yesterday (it was actually 7 wk since holidays interupted the schedule). My surgeon was so pleased. She said that I am healing very well and doing fine. My bowels and bladder work much better now that there is not so much pressure on both. I only need to keep taking the iron pills and hrt which she prescribed yesterday. A check on the iron is to be done in another month. I don't feel any pain but am still tired sometimes and also am having extreme hot flashes. In spite of all that I ran my caucus last night! What an day and what a evening! I am going to be soon.

I'm glad to hear everyone is recovering so well. I was wondering if anyone was noticing any hormonal changes. I had one ovary removed but I still had PMS symptoms eg food cravings, sore breasts, etc. It's not as bad as before, but I'm just wondering if this will be ongoing or is this my hormones still readjusting?
Thanks to everyone for any great advice :-)

I had about a week of sore breasts too. I didn't know if it was PMS or if it was because we were all sick here. I'll have to see if I get it again in a few weeks.

Any one else?

Erpie: I had my 6-week check up and the doctor said everything was fine; the discharge is light and isn't changing colors, it's just some days I have nothing and then I'll have a little.

I'm 7 weeks post-op. I would've had my period this week. I had sore breasts, but that's it. I'm very pleased

I have had no symptoms what so ever and I had both ovaries removed and no HRT. I have not had any hot flashes or night sweats I was wondering if this is due to my un-normal low body temp I have got some what I have to call cold flashes where all the sudden I get icey cold chills and goose bumps all over. My energy level is increasing as this is my first week back to work I have been really tired after a 9 hour day and I have been a little sore but other then this I made it thru a full week of work.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a while. My recovery has been as good as I hoped for. My 4 week post op was good and I returned to work on 12-20 but only for 2 days. Then I was off an additional 10 days for the holidays. I needed those 10 days too!. The 2 days I worked were so hard, I was so tired. I went back this week on the 3rd and I feel great now. My energy is back. I can have sex again and there's no problems. I wish everyone could have the same experience.

Tomorrow is 8 wks TAH/BSO no hormones, several Big Os, everything going quite well. One question the left half of my mound is numb, it seems to have gone back to numb. I have been coughing due to congestion and this area hurts when I do cough deeply. Any thoughts are similiar experiences. My swelling is not as bad just depends on what I do for the day as to amount of swelling I have.
