Bladder pressure after lifiting

Hi sisters,

I've been lurking for months now, especially right after my surgery. Thank God you were there for me after my surgery. I was feeling great. No lifting, I had everyone doing it for me. I even had my 83 year old mother push the grocery cart for me for months. I was jazzercising since the the third month and was walking alot. I had a little bit of soreness though, up until the end of May. I started feeling really good in June and of course I got over confident and lifted some boxes out of my van. I heard that we shouldn't lift more than 25 lbs. after a vaginal repair and I know it was very close to that in weight. Well I've been sore ever since and feeling pressure down there. I didn't seem to be too bad at first and didn't rest and by 3 days later I was in pain. I called my MD over the holiday weekend and he said to call the office to set up an appointment since he won't know anything until he checks me. I called Tuesday and they can't get me in until Thursday. I ran my urine specimen to the doctor and I don't have a bladder infection. I hope I didn't ruin my surgery. I have been worrying ever since. This is my second bladder suspension surgery and I just can't stop doing stupid things once I feel good. TVH and anterior colonorraphy Oct. 04, 2004. Has anyone else done anything like this?
