driving

I only have my husband for 4-6days at the most after my surg. Will I be ok to drive I will have to get my daughter from school he eill take her in the mornings but I have to get her after. Due to his job.

My doctor told me that once you're off pain meds and if you have the energy, you can drive short distances which I did by my 7th day. I know other women who couldn't get out of the house after a week. Everyone's recovery experience is different so good to see how you feel.

I think that depends on the type of surgery you have and when your doctor clears you to drive. Some sisters have been cleared soon after, and others a bit later. Do you have other people that can help you? Good luck!
