Anyone have sah with history of cervicitis

I have had cervicitis in the past. A couple of applications of aminocerv usually clears it up. I have had a problem with vaginal discharge for the same reason. My question is would this preclude me from keeping my cervix? Would I still have a chance of getting cervicitis? Could I still use amino-cerv if this occured? I have no history of abnormal pap. I am 61 years old and I believe that there is a very low risk of cervical cancer in that age group. I have never been tested for HPV. Should this be done first? My mother had prolapsed everything after her TAH,and I would like to avoid that.

I had cervicitis it caused me lots of pain during sex. I had the cervix removed and now I am pain free. I hope things work out for you.
