back surgery and hysterectomy

Hello has anyone out there had major back surgery before your hysterectomy? I have had three surgeries on my back and am VERY worried about how my back will fare with my abdomial hysterectomy.
I remember what my stomcah felt like after three c-sections but my back was good then now it has pins, rods and cages. Surgery is Jan 3rd

I have not had back surg but have had problems with my back since my job required lifting children at day care. All of my labor pains were in my back to. I don't want to tell you that you may experience back pain after your surg but I know I did. I think it was mainly from laying in one position in the hospital though. Had a TVH and heard that they have to put you in strange positions for that. Hopefully yours wont be that way, but if you have any concerns, I would talk to my dr. about it. I'm thinking of you.
