I am probably NOT alone in that slacken is hard....but you only get one chance to heal right. I did work at the computer today, sometimes in bed and sometimes at the desk. But as soon as I was done, I called my dh for coffee and here I sit with my feet up while dinner is being cooked....I just got the five minute warning....time to start waddling......

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Well guess what? I found a site that sells t-shirts that say "I am Multislacking"! I think hystersisters could sell quite a few of those. If anyone wants to check them out they were at a site called zazzle. I've never purchased from them so can't rate the site.

Now back to your regularly scheduled slackin' program - eat, sleep, repeat.

LOL a MULTISLACKING tshirt ..... I need one of those. Today was my first "big trip" to my sons Dr's appt 2 hours away.... I slacked the entire way... let the hubby drive and even made hubby take the kids shopping afterwards.... I sat in the van and played with the kids IPods. Then I came home afterwards and napped! Yup slackalackin. Driving is exhausting!

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

3 weeks and one day post op and I am still a member in good standing. Hardest work I'm doing is planting and plowing by the click of the finger on FarmTown.

I did blow it though one way today...hubby took me out to Chinese dinner tonight and wanted to go to Walmart. I should have gotten one of those carts...but I didn't..I definitely was ready to go home in a short period of time. Slacker sisters...get the motorized cart (my one chance in a lifetime and I blew it !!

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I was wondering about the motorized Walmart carts...I'm planning a break in the slackin' tomorrow and taking my first drive of about 3 miles for a trip to Wal Marche...DH isn't much on the shopping thing, and we're running out of food!

I've spent the best part of the last few days sitting in a chair in the sun absorbing Vitamin D while DH builds a cover for the RV...exhausting, truly exhausting! Normally, I would be scaling one ladder with one end of the 2x6's while he carries the other end up the other ladder to the top of the roof...it's 16 feet high. I've never felt so totally and utterly useless in my life!

It's 15 days post-op now, and I must admit to becoming tired of slackin', sisters. Where is the tiredness we're supposed to have? Shouldn't I be sleeping about 10 hours a day, and at night??? Somebody please throw me some patience! Am I some weird anomaly?

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

The sleeping lost its appeal really soon. I normally sleep 5-6 hours a night. When I slept more, it was interrupted sleep, so more tiring than not sleeping. I've never been a great slacker. Bugs my DH to no end because I can't sit & watch TV & do nothing.
