I just got the news!

I am ready to start planning my TAH due to Fibroids.
I have very supportive people all around me, including my employer, family and boyfriend.
I left the consultation with the Dr. sooo scared and nervous. I already feel better joining this site!
I've made my decision to have the abdominal and am waiting for the call with the date and time.
Whew!

Good for you! I had a TAH because of fibroids on 7/3/07 and feel great.

That wonderful that you've made the decision. I've heard that waiting is the hardest part - but I know that waiting for the call from the hospital was the worst part! I want it done yesterday - but they couldn't get me in until Dec. 13th...

Yes the waiting for the "date" to the castle is hard - I used that time to get informed - and once I had the date (11/19/07) I joined this sight. The support here is wonderful - all the best!
