Found cure for the waiting blues!

Wow! I have the world's greatest fiance. He gave me my Christmas present today. I got a day at the spa complete with manicure, pedicure, facial, and makeover. She highlighted, trimmed and straightened my hair, and waxed/tinted my eyebrows. I look 15 years younger and feel wonderful. What a great gift 48 hours before my trip to the castle. So much stress relieved. I highly recommend that you try to spring a little pampering before the big day.

Wow, that sounds wonderful! I did have a massage the week before my trip to the castle, but I am so jealous. Not really, just happy for you!!

What a smart,sweet man you have there, he sounds like a keeper! You will look so pretty for X-Mas. I have been a hairstylist for 17 years, the gals I work with made sure my color was touched up, brows and lip waxed and my toes had to be red for Christmas, I had TAH, and was shocked to see afterwards that they had shaved most of my pubic hair off after they knocked me out, if I had known they were gonna do that to me I would have waxed there too! He sounds to thoughtful and could not have given you a better gift. I had read on this site that going for a mani/pedi was a good relaxing (ease the worried mind) way to spend the day before the surgery so I went after my pre-op for a pedicure and it was wonderful.
