Can stress make your bleeding stop?

Help me sisters. I'm freaking out. Surgery in one week. Breaking out in cold sweats and dreaming about surgery.

Yesterday started my period, the pain is here but no blood!? I had some light blood yesterday and it completely went away. Can stress cause this? I'm terrified God cured me at the last hour. That would be awful timing! The no blood is adding to my stress.

Any advice? Has this happened to you?

Stress, anxiety and emotions can all affect your period. There have been many times over the years that something would come up and throw my whole cycle out of wack. But it is harder to deal with when your are just starting your period and at the same time become overly stressed. Try relaxing in a nice warm bath and the laydown and listen to some music that soothes you. Sometimes all it takes is taking a break from life for a little bit.
