Re: What long-term benefits are you MOST looking forward to?

- Enjoying playing with my kids
- Hopefully being able to go camping & hiking
- Vacations, swimming, and "Date night" whenever it is otherwise convenient, without worry that my period will be in the way
- Being able to help friends & family more
- Being able to keep my house clean because just being on my feet won't be painful any more!

Re: What long-term benefits are you MOST looking forward to?

No more cramps!
No more mess!
Boy, those two alone would be a huge relief. I thought this was tied into my fatigue and B12 anemia but it seems with all this we've also discovered I have the auto immune disease rheumatoid arthritis. So, at least the mess and cramps will be gone!! Hopefully, when I get to the Rheumy Dr in Dec he will have some answers for the rest. Here's hoping !

Looking foreward to just being able to function. No more bleeding, pain, discomfort, and taking so much of my livelyhood away. Been like this so long I don't know what it would feel like to be pain free.

Re: What long-term benefits are you MOST looking forward to?

Never again ruining a set of sheets because I didn't get up in time to change my pad every hour.

Never again having to have regular panties and "period panties."

Never again having pain that, coupled with blood loss, causes me to faint.

Never again staining my towel when I get out of the shower because the blood is almost literally pouring out of me when on my period.

Hopefully more stable moods as I'm not dealing with the menstrual cramps from hell every 2-3 weeks.

I could go on, but this is enough for now. Thanks for bringing this up. I love it!!!

Re: What long-term benefits are you MOST looking forward to?

I just came off my aunt flo and I was changing my tampon every two hours. I had not had anything in the month of August but it came like the river jordan with no end in sight. And the pain was out of this world I could barely stand or sit. But hopefully their is light at the end of the tunnel. Having my surgery due to what I hope is just fibroids but they will be searching to see if I have endomentrial cancer. So I will be having everything out.
