Pre-Op done and went well

Hi Ladies only 2 days to go,

Met with my new gyn on Monday and was very calm and relaxed after leaving his office. He informed me I might lose my ovaries if the Endometreosis has spread that far. It didn't upset me though, he has a real way with his patients. I'm glad when the pain is gone. He even said he'll straigten up the scar and get rid of the access scar tissue from the last op.

Had my pre-admission and bloodwork yesterday. That was all they did. The nurse spent lots of time answering all my questions as did my doc the day before.

Other than not eating and drinking after midnight the night before I don't have to do anything to prepare. No enema, WOOHOO!!!!

I'm no longer nervous and anxious. I'm so happy and glad I decided to have this done. I've been taking 1000mg of Vitamin C a day in preparation along with my usual multi-vitamins. The doc said way to go and continue taking them.

I hope and wish that all LIW have their pre-ops run that smooth and have their fears calmed.

Big Hug to all you LIW!
