surgery tomorrow

Hi Sisters,
Am ready for surgery tomorrow and yes I am getting pretty nervous about it all. Got a new robe and slippers to wear at the castle. Got to look good for my TAH. Have been cleaning non stop for three days, is that what they call nesting? To those of you are waiting, I wish you all the luck and good health after your surgery. I know we will all feel so much better after.

You are so close now. Then the recovery, healing, and lounging princess style can start. I felt a bit stressed right before my surgery wondering what I was forgetting to do. I worked very hard at just letting go. I did stock up with little juices, puddings, and small things in the frig. I didn't initially have much of an appetite so small treats came in handy. Pack something special for the hospital like a nice smelling lotion or something. Take it easy and try to squeeze in something fun today.

Whatever helps you pass this time is good...cleaning, not cleaning, hiding....do whatever helps you!!!

Before you know it, this will all be behind you....we'll be thinking of you!
