One Year today!!

Wow could not think of this day a year ago. I had a complete hyster; tubes and ovaries a year ago today. Ruled out ovarian cancer, removed a 12.5 cm cystic tumor and found a few "surprises". Above all I am grateful and here to support others in the same situation. I had no reasonable choice in this surgery but I had a fantastic gyn surgeon and today I am celebrating. I have had ***0*** problems post hyster. So grateful.

Yay! Congrats!! Its nice to hear we can have zero problems! I am hoping for a full year with zero problems too! Your cuff must be holding strong? Thats my biggest worry! I dont want my cuff to explode!

Yes, my cuff has held and that was a concern as I have a connective tissue disorder which makes everything more susceptible to poor wound healing and tearing. When I went in for the 6 week check my physician noted that there was a lot of stretch and "giving in" of my sutured cuff, thus I was told to add on 2 more weeks of limited physical activity. It has healed since. No problem with the cuff followed.
