low back pain

Has anyone heard that b/c of a totally tiled uterus cld cause low back pain? It's really bad at night, my Dr. says perhaps b/c I am laying causes pain? I have suffered with this for almost two years now. I had a colonoscopy, drugs, therapy, laparoscopy.... this was my last resort. He thinks that along with the back, my migraines, swelling of my leg due to superficial thrombosis, uterine veins are overly large and one does not even work?? any advice wld be greatly appreciated! with all that I have read frm this site...I have nothing to lose! ( well except for ya know )
thanks

low back pain

I have had back problems for the past 3 years. I also had a tilted uterus, but it wasn't directly responsible for my disk problems and wasn't the reason for my hysterectomy. It did, however, cause my back to ache horribly during my period. My back doctor felt that it was possibly due to my tilted uterus pressing on my spine and already bulging disk.

It sounds like you have already been through a lot. Have you ever gotten a second opinion? It's always a good idea to get more than one opinion when you are facing something like this. Of course, we support you no matter what.

I'm sorry you are facing surgery and I hope that everything goes well and you are feeling better afterwards. Best wishes to you!

low back pain

I had back pain because of a tilted uterus that was prolapsed. Don't know if that has anything to do with what you are going thru.

thank you

for your advice. I was given this option months ago. But I opted for the Lupron!! ...Was not very helpful at all....My Dr. believes that the tilted uterus may be the problem and with the migraines ( which increased alot with Lupron ) this cld help me.
thank you again !

low back pain

I, too, had terrible back pain because of a tilted uterus and large fibroids laying on my back. I'm happy to say that the first thing I noticed in recovery was no back pain! Three weeks later, I continue to feel great! Good luck.
