Good Bye Party . . . .

Hi SIsters . . . .

I have made the decsion today to give my uterus, my period, and the awful, horrible, monsterious(get my point?) cramps, a good bye party!!

I feel like I have been so obsessed with this issue, that I have not even time to rest my brain. I've been having little spats with DH. I have been in such a mood, this has been driving me crazy.
So yes, I say this sunday @ 3:00PST we should should all put on a party hat, blow our party horns, and wave goodbye to our monthly misery! Let's eat chocolate, have a glass of wine, and give a toast to ourselves!

I will be heading in monday @ 10:00. I wish everyone here GOOD WISHES!!

Good Bye Party . . . .

I was sitting on the potty yesterday, and right next to me is my sink and built in cabinets underneath. It occurred to me that I have massive amounts of feminine hygiene products stored there that, after 4 Nov, I'm not going to need anymore. Tampons, pantiliners, pads...acres and acres of the stuff. Yeah, I'll keep some pads behind for post-op needs, but the rest of the bumph I threw into a bag and will take them to my docs office so that other patients can use them (I have boxes of stuff that haven't even been opened yet!).

I am leaving on Friday for 10 days to attend a family reunion in the mountains. The day after I return, I have to start with all of the pre-op appts, so for those 10 days, I am going to enjoy being with my family. I'm sure that chocolate and wine will be involved!! I'll be thinking of all my sisters on Sunday at the appointed time!! Great idea!

for the hygiene supplies - just a suggestion (someone else gave this tip to me) keep a small supply for female guests. I kept a small amount in the guest bathroom. I can't tell you how many times I have been in a panic when at someone else's house and have had an accident and no supplies available.

Also enjoy the party - I too had a fairwell send off and had a great time.

Good Bye Party . . . .

Hi Ladies -

I am 7 weeks Post op today and a party sounds good to me!!! I totally agree that bleeding, pain, several test, pain medicine and trips to the Gyn can consume our minds. Since we are not feeling well ....the bad moods kick in.

I was a total monster to my hubby, but he understood my pain and was there by my side. We agreed after my surgery and recovery - we would celebrate.

So count me in for the party with Chocolates and Wine!

Best Wishes on your upcoming surgery.
