Just an idea - when we moved to our house, we needed to replace the mailbox (kind on post) and we needed a bigger one (minus the rust spots!). Anyway, I got a plain black one and painted it using stencils. Turned out beautiful and was what i wanted.
If you can find a wall mount one - with some paint, stencils, and imagination (which you definitely have!): ta-da!!

Like I said - just an idea!

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

My sisters here are such a great part of my life!! Well, lala must've really sent some good vibes today... I actually had a pretty good day!

Spent the afternoon laying around after my outing... enjoyed some peace & quiet alone while my family went bowling... had a bowl of lucky charms for dinner (haven't had those since I was a kid!)... watched my son play inside his new tent (in the house, it decided to storm really bad here)... played "fetch" w/my kitty and her new mouse toy... still can't get over a cat that plays fetch!!

Anyhow, thank you gals for praying for a great day! Today was a good one... hmmm wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I actually took my s like I was supposed to... I haven't done that since the first week home! I think it's both that and y'all's GOOD VIBES! So here's a great big and a bunch of flowers for each of you

Here's hoping that tomorrow is a good day too........

thank you for the mailbox advice, Debbie! All the mailboxes were very plain and -- boyish -- dont they know women rule the exterior decorating choices?

shall we manifest another good day for tomorrow? or did you want to not push our luck and just wish for one that isnt complete cr@p?

let me know how high we should aim!!

I opt for another GOOD DAY!

My day today was good - lost more weight this week, my toes (which I 'tried to break' while returning to bed after a early hours trip to the bathroom while still 3/4 asleep) look much better (my DgD said "Nana, they aren't green any more!" Gee, I thought they were that deep purplish black color - not green!), got my garage cleaned out (major family accomplishment), and DH took me out to dinner because by that point - I didn't feel like cooking!

I did relax and had a glass of wine a few mintues ago! So now, it is off to hopefully sleep ALL night long!

Wishing all of you a great night and even better Sunday!

I opt for another GOOD DAY

Another good day would be awesome My DD and my two boys went to Grandma and Grandpa's house! Yay! A whole day and a bit of silence for DH and me Whoo Hooo! She is getting ready for University and wanted a bit of a break, but, didn't want to drive 3 hours all by herself (yes, she is 19 and still a cling-on at times), so, she told the boys that they had no choice - they had to go with her. We will be meeting them tomorrow (I should say later today) in the city, as our youngest has an exhibition soccer game to play. He decided to take a break this summer and not play on a particular team - He was asked to play on his cousins team for two tournaments and now this team asked him to play for them for Provincials - the funny part of this now is he will be playing against his cousin's team!
Time for me to try out shopping at Wally world (and maybe use the backup beeping electronic chair - it REALLY embarrasses my kidlets) heehee!

Dolphin - I am so glad that you had a better trip out this time - even if you had to try and maneuver the electronic chair - it's always fun trying to get around some of those aisles! When I'm on one of them they need to have a BIG warning sign and anyone around me should definitely watch their feet....they might even have to break out their Warning! Female with mood swings lol sign....

Lala - unfortunately, some cats have a little more "attitude" then others, but, not too worry, if they don't appreciate your special humor talent ability WE DO

Hope - I so wish I could share some of my pain meds with you - I'll try and throw them really far in your direction.

Tonight I watched the DVD Bridge to Terabithia - I wish my kidlets would have warned me that it was a sad show....I cried my eyes out! I expected it to be something like Never ending story, or Lion, witch and the wardrobe.

Has anyone else been crying lots lately? I have to confess this wasn't my first crying lag....

I think I'd be having more "issues" if it wasn't. I took you advice, went to Happy Hour for a steak dinner and had a few cocktails while the man fixed the wiring system at our friends tavern.

Kept both ovaries, EXTREMELY moody...

morning ladies! are we ready for another Good Day!? I was thinking this morning that even an okay day is a good day if you have been having bad days...

I was also thinking this morning before leaping (okay crawling) out of bed about a phrase I have used a lot post hyster - 'processing grief'.

(this is circuitous lala thinking I know) but in the process of processing, something must be used and released. When a car processes gas, it uses it and exhausts the rest (and feels better not exhausted!) :steer:

so I was thinking about what use my grief gives me, and how the most important part of its processing is to release it afterwards. (although it seems to me that processing grief is more like trying to process a bad bowl of chili... it lasts longer than you can possibly imagine and the 'exhaust' part is almost as painful as the rest...)

and I decided that today if the moodiness or grief visit, I am going to try to think about what I can use from it, and then consciously try to release at least a little of it so that next time there might be less to visit... anf then maybe even a moody day can be a good day!

thank you ladies for listening to me even when I am circuitous!

here's to another good day!

ms. lala is full of insight this morning I never thought about it that way.... I really don't mind the grief... it's the boughts of sudden anger (to me for no apparent reason) and aggravation that's getting to me. I've been up since 430 this morning... and kinda cranky. I'm assuming it's because I'm reaaaalllly tired today.... I've already apologized to my dh a million times and warned him that I'm kinda cranky. Sigh.... the weird thing is... I'm really NOT in a bad mood, just kinda touchy. kwim?

Anyhow, I'm sure it will get better after I get a nap. I hope everyone else had a better night sleep last night and hoping we all have a good day!
