Is this menopause or something else?

So, had a hysterectomy in 2017 in which I kept my ovaries but lost my tubes, uterus, and cervix.

After sex I recently started noticing a fishy smell after sex. My doc said to use boric acid suppositories (after a precautionary culture of course). So far that has worked.

Now I've been experiencing vaginal dryness and pain after sex.

Is this the beginning of menopause or should I be concerned about something else?

a fishy smell is a sign of bacterial vaginosis..ask your dr. to test you for it. if it hasnt been treated, the other symptoms could be from it. also get checked for a yeast infection.
