Post op 4 years, need another surgery to remove right ovary.

Hi everyone, in Aug. 2004 I had a partial hysterectomy with uterus and left ovary removed for endo and adenomosis . Since I was only 35, I didn't want to go on hormone replacement therapy, I excercised my option to leave my right ovary in tact. Well now it's 5 years later, been experiecing menopausal hot flashes and night sweats, and LOTS AND LOTS OF PAIN and cramping like Endo pain and menstral cramps combined. My doctor has me on 750 mg of vicodin until my surgery on Oct. 29th of this year to remove the other ovary.

Well I am having some concerns regarding ovarian cancer. I had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago that indicated a mass in the left side of my pelvis. My doctor was concerned and ordered a ct scan because of the mass and because I have a hyper distenstended stomach (I look like I"m 6 months pregnant and I am a very thin woman). I've been doing research and alot of my symptoms mimmick those of ovarian cancer, such as stomach distention, nauseua, digestive issues and lots of pain. Has anyone experienced this? Is this all in my head? I don't get the CT results back until Friday and I'm going nuts!! Please, can someone tell me what's going on with me?
