Conflicted about hormone therapy

She didnt use any hrt and no osteoporosis or other serious health issues from lack of hormones? I keep wondering if i need hrt but im terrified to not use it yet im terrified to continuing to use it! Im in a pickle!

No, she has not. She has a bone scan every few years to keep check but all is well.

Among my friends, we have all opted to not do hormones for various reasons. None have had any bone or skeletal issues after hysterectomy at this point. I am already changing my diet to accommodate extra calcium not using supplements. I love kale and spinach so I should be able to do it.

My doctor said that fluffy people have a lot less issues with it than smaller women because of the load bearing weight carried. Load bearing exercise should be part of your daily routine. Walking with ankle and wrist weights...after HEALING of course.

I kept meaning to use my ankle and wrist weights while I work and i never remember! Im a little fluffy but Im working on it! I am very active at least. I have always had super strong fingernails and that hasnt changed since surgical menopause so that gives me a feeling that maybe my bones are pretty healthy. I would think! Haha! Intrigued by your lack of hrt use. I will do some research.
