home again, but telling bad news

Hello all my systers
Well I'm back home after spending a week in my local hospital. And I can tell you I was spoiled there by all those nice people working there so all my worries about the hospital staying were completely unnecessary as they were so kind to me.
Well still things turned out to be worse then my Doctor thought before the operation and I was diagnosed with cancer and have to go to both radiation and medication therapy. Still he is optimistic about all this because the cancer was completely sectional and was found in such an early stage.
Anyway this is just a project which I have to work in and I'm going to win this war. Of course I cry a lot and I'm scared to death I'm just human after all but I have decided that this cancer will not break me down.
Everything else is fine I'm beeing treated like some fragile queen at home with my hubby as my personal servant and he is so caring and he shows me such a deep deep love. I think he would start to climb if I would ask for the moon I feel so protected and loved that I can't believe anything bad can happen to me.
I'm healing very well the vaginal bleeding stopped after 3 days and the scar on my belly is looking just very nice (piece of art so to speak).
I'll write more soon and hope all of you waiting for surgery will be as lucky as me at home and wish you all the best.

Sorry to hear your bad news, please visit cancer concerns.
I'm sure you will get some needed information and a lot of support. It is especially good to hear from sister's with long ago cancer diagnosis who are doing fine.

I am glad you made it home and have such a wonderful DH. That will make a world of difference with your recovery.
Doctors are so up to date on treatment and I think you will be just fine.
Enjoy being pampered. You deserve it!!

Yes, like Peggy said, your husband sounds like an angel. How wonderful that he knows how to show his love and caring. I'm so glad that the hospital staff was top notch too. I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for your cancer news. Please keep us updated while you are healing from your surgery and awaiting further treatment.

(I checked your profile and saw that you are a gerbil lover. I never knew I could become attached to a gerbil until we inherited the 3rd grade pet. "Kodak" had bitten the teacher and it was either our house or ... Anyway, he lived for 4 years, and he was a dear little fellow.)
