Anyone from Maine???

I found it totally amazing at how exhausted I was for so very long. It was about the end of my eight week when suddenly I felt like I had some energy....IT WAS TOTALLY GREAT!!!!. Less then a mile ummmmm.....heading towards Winslow from the lumber yard or towards So. China? Hey they have a really good restaurant closer to route 3 ....very good. It is on the right after coming off route 3. Been there a couple of times bringing my daughter to Presque Isle ...UMPI. Have you ever been there? It is very good. I grew up in Waterville.

Anyone from Maine???

I lived in waterville for a bit when I was in High school. I am heading towards winslow. Are you talking about the Chinah Dinah?? We have been there for breakfast, but haven't had any other meals there yet. My daughters 17th birthday is coming up and she wants to try supper there. That is a long commute to PI, I haven't been there for many years, but it is definitely a pretty area.
I can't wait to get energy, as far as pain, mine has pretty much subsided for the most part. Today has been my worst day for a couple of weeks so I guess I am getting there. When the swelly belly and lack of energy is gone I think I may have to celebrate with a shopping trip or something LOL

Yup, the China Dinah. And yes, a long trip to PI...4 1/2 hrs by going the back way to Bangor longer if I go to Augusta and hop the highway. Sorry about your day. It happens....they get fewer and fewer. I am lucky as I no longer have swelly belly and can wear my regular pants again....thank goodness. I have a 20 year old daughter and an 18 year old son.

Best wishes.

Anyone from Maine???

That gives me hope that the swelly belly will go away soon, probably sooner if I stop pretending that everything is normal and slow myself down. My "baby" is 17(in 2 weeks) and a junior in high school. She is now looking into colleges. I am hoping she stays local for a while, I don't know what I am gonna do when she moves on, ugggh. It goes by way too quick. It is so nice talking to people that know what this is like and now people from my neck of the woods. I love driving the back way to Bangor, especially this time of year, the colors are so pretty right now. Gotta have some good views before we are all covered with white!!

Yes, time does fly by...very quickly indeed. We are headed up to Vermont in a couple of weeks with our son to check out a couple of colleges. I bet the drive that way is very pretty too....maybe not so much now. I can wait for the white stuff. I like the comment my grandmother frequently said in the winter...."Wouldn't it be nice if it could snow everywhere but the roads." I have to agree with her. Happy Birthday to your daughter and good luck with the college search. AND the swelly belly.
