Thankful for HysterSisters Hysterectomy Support

I am generally not one to post to online forums outside of my LinkedIn and Facebook. I posted a message a day or so prior to my surgery. I want to thank all those who responded, as I was unsure how to reply back being so new to the site and trying to mentally brace myself for my procedure.

I had a radical hysterectomy on 1/25/2017 and am healing nicely, but found out I have to have radiation and chemo recently.

I can't say enough as to how helpful this site was for me in preparing for what to have and what to expect. I had my tummy support band; my pillow for the car ride home; my flowy clothing for the days following; etc.

Again, thank you for providing such a great resource and support network for those who have to undergo hysterectomies for a variety of reasons.
