Last visit from 'Aunt Flo'

My LAVH/BSO is scheduled for May 27th. I started my period last night for what I'm hoping will be the last time. (It's only 24 days since my last cycle, and they've been getting shorter, so I guess it's possible I might start the day of or the day before the surgery.) I thought I might be sad to have this last cycle, after all I've been doing it fairly regularly since I was eleven years old--38 years. I expected a little grief maybe, but you know what? ::cue Wild Cherry:: I'm dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'. WAHOO!

Goodbye, Aunt Flo! May I never have you grace my presence again!!!!!

Now if I could just get over the sheer terror at the thought of surgery....

Sad to have your last period? No way..its a time to celebrate!! Just think...you no longer have to worry about ruining your panties, can bypass the feminine products isle at the store, you will save a bundle of money and you can wear white any time you want!

I was worried Aunt Flo might make an unexpected visit this week but so far so good. I can't wait to not have to worry about her showing up again....I went out and bought myself beautiful white sheets and can't wait to put them on my bed.

My surgery is the 11th and she should show around then ugh!! She's been coming sooner and sooner for me every month too and lemme tell ya, I ain't sad!!! Nope nope!!! Goodbye you hateful despiteful old hag!!!

Even though after surgery you won't receive a visit from 'Aunt Flo' you will still be visited by the spotting fairy so don't throw those pads and panty liners away yet. :-)

I figure Aunt Flo will visit me at least twice more before my surgery. I was at the store the other day and started to pick up a couple boxes of tampons and then thought "Wait! I probably shouldn't stock up on these." LOL

My surgery is tomorrow and let me tell you, I am not gonna miss Aunt Flo one little bit! I understand there will be spotting but nothing compared to what I had before, nothing can be that bad! So bring on the dancing and singing and moving and grooving!

I'm bleediing now and will likely be bleeding at surgery. But Doc said it's ok. (thank the good Lord!)

I too am expecting Aunt Flo to arrive next week. My last one for the rest of my life.. yahoo! My surgery is quickly approaching 13 days from today!!! I am so excited!
