I wanted to thank everyone who offerred encouraging words during my battle with the insurance company. It seems they finally saw the light and gave the go ahead for my surgery.

They have no idea what they do to women's lives when they deny surgery. I don't think any of us are doing this because we have some spare time on our hands we want to fill.

If any of the rest of you are facing this surgery and your insurance company has denied you I want to tell you to fight them. Most of the time they will give in. I got one of them so mad that she actually hung up on me. I didn't care. I am fighting for my life here. I am not trying to make friends at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Good for you! I have one pending 5/10/05 and I am terrified they are going to try to pull that with me too.
