Pelvic Congestion Syndrome-LAVH Scheduled Soon
I am 35 and have been diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome and adenomyosis. I haven't had too many issues with irregular bleeding...perhaps because of my mirena. But I have had horrible pain down my leg and my lower back. After a diagnostic laporascopy my OB/GYN has recommended a LAVH to take care of my pain...I hope.
I would love to hear from others who have pelvic congestion. From what I have read, a hysterectomy doesn't always solve the problem, especially if they leave the ovaries. I'm in so much pain I'm willing to do anything, but I don't want to go through another procedure and still feel the same way.
My surgery is scheduled for September 9, and I am getting really nervous...at the same time, I'm ready to get my life back. I have been so tired and in so much pain that I struggle to get through my day to day activities.
Any advice for the newbie would be greatly appreciated!
